Ladies Ministry

South Side Baptist Church welcomes ladies of all ages and stages to connect through worship, prayer, and fellowship dinners in an atmosphere of Christian love. We provide numerous opportunities to build and foster authentic relationships with each other and the younger generations of women and girls.

We believe that God’s desire for each woman is that she grow into a mature Christian. To this end, we encourage our women to get connected to pursue their relationship with Christ and their calling to ministry with families and children.
Ladies are essential in connecting children to Christ through the nursery, preschool, young children, and youth. We believe that God has appointed parents as their children’s primary religious instructors and the church’s role is to assist in the cooperative effort of that task. In our commitment to assist mothers, mature ladies share in a mentoring manner for younger mothers.
Ladies are also crucial in reaching out to church members and the community. Our women enjoy spending time together, whether it is in worship, prayer, or fellowship. There are multiple times throughout the year that groups enjoy visiting history events, eating out, and family activities. In doing so, we demonstrate Christian values to the community.

Each month, the women of South Side gather to encourage one another through prayer, bible study, fellowship, or community outreach.
