Basic Bible Truths: BBT is a six-week Bible study designed to introduce, clarify, and illustrate the gospel and the foundational steps of obedience to Christ.
DiscipleFirst: Our discipleship curriculum involves three seven-week studies skillfully designed to transform you from a fledgling follower of Christ to a committed disciple-maker capable of spiritual reproduction.
- Walk With God: In the first phase of your discipleship journey, you’ll learn the foundational habits and skills for a thriving daily walk with God.
- Reach Your World: In the second phase, you’ll develop a heart of compassion for those around you who don’t yet know Christ. You’ll also learn the skills for presenting the gospel with confidence and tact.
- Invest In A Few: In the third phase, you’ll move beyond merely making disciples into the joy of reproducing reproducers.
Charting A Bold Course: South Side offers a twenty-week training intensive for those interested in leadership. The work is challenging but deeply rewarding. In the course, participants will study their identity in Christ, their vision for life and ministry, their gifts and strengths, their temperament, and much more. This training is only available for members who have completed all three phases of the DiscipleFirst curriculum.
Apologetics: The Christian faith is not blind. The Bible contains a wealth of evidential support for its claims. In a world that is growing ever more hostile to the claims of the Bible, it has never been more crucial that Christians know what and why they believe. Our apologetics courses will prepare you to defend your faith boldly and winsomely in an antagonistic and lying world.
- Forensic faith: Learn to defend the truth by acquiring the necessary techniques for building a solid case for your faith and then presenting it boldly and charitably to those around you.
- God’s Crime Scene: Learn how the natural universe provides extensive evidence that points directly to a divine creator.
- Person of Interest: Learn to defend the existence, death, burial, and resurrection of Jesus Christ, using historical evidence alone, without relying on the New Testament.
- Cold-Case Christianity: Learn how to defend the historicity and authenticity of the Gospel accounts.
